The Yuba-Sutter Farm Bureau is a vital part of our community, providing an important voice for the agriculture industry.
We advocate for sensible land-use policies. We protect the county’s water supply and local water quality. We encourage regulators to adopt effective but fair, technically feasible rules and to evenly enforce those rules. We empower our members with information. We reach out to many different organizations and entities to seek solutions to often complex problems. We work to share agriculture with those who may only know their food from the grocery store. And we offer individual farmers and ranchers the opportunity to unite with others who share their concerns and interests, so they can speak with one powerful voice at the local, state and national levels.

The Yuba-Sutter Farm Bureau is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation. The purpose of the Yuba-Sutter Farm Bureau is to unite the farmers of the bi-counties in a farm organization for the promotion and protection of their common interest without regard to political or religious affiliation.
We encourage and foster the development of commodity marketing and purchase of farm supplies on a cooperative nonprofit basis and the development of such other activities as will best serve the economic needs of our members and the bi-county region.
